<p>The Director of Global IT & Communications will have global responsibility for oversight and leadership of IT, network, and communications. This includes administering the computerized manufacturing and network (hardware and software) systems for multi-plant operation. This person will also have responsibility for administering all telecommunication equipment and services.</p> <p>GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Manage the IT Department, including: </li><li>Provide leadership and management of the IT team by conducting meetings, providing training, assistance, and follow-through. </li><li>Define roles and responsibilities within the IT department. </li><li>Develop and manage the IT department budget. </li><li>Act as key liaison between IT and other departments, including 3rd party contractors/suppliers. </li><li>Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy (short-term and long-term). </li><li>Drive enterprise-wide digital transformation, modernization, and cybersecurity resiliency efforts. </li><li>Lead incident response and disaster recovery planning. </li><li>Establish and maintain security protocols to protect company data and systems. </li><li>Manage third-party vendors, contracts, and service-level agreements. </li><li>Ensure internal/external audits and reviews are performed and passed. </li><li>Manage the company's IT, software, hardware, network, and communications systems, including: </li><li>Oversee all IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability, scalability, and licensing. </li><li>Evaluate, negotiate, and implement cost-effective technology solutions for equipment and communications. </li><li>Plan and lead IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, or new implementations. </li><li>Monitor system performance and resolve issues proactively. </li><li>Inventory IT hardware/software and license management. </li><li>Daily, weekly, and monthly back-ups, including testing Disaster Recovery and Incident Response plans. </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:</p> <ul> <li>Seven years' minimum experience in administering or managing information systems in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science (CS) or management information systems (MIS) or equivalent. </li><li>Detail-oriented with a high regard for accuracy. </li><li>Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills, including the ability to establish strong vendor relationships. </li><li>Ability to manage others. </li><li>Strong sense of self-initiative and ability to work independently. </li><li>Familiarity with various IT software, hardware, Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with bar coding and radio frequency systems. </li><li>Familiarity with telecommunication services. </li><li>Registered as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). </li></ul>
