<p>Evans General Contractors, LLC is a growing, national/international design-build construction company performing work in a wide variety of commercial and industrial markets. Evans seeks to hire an on-site, experienced professional to join its management team as a Preconstruction Manager. We do not offer any remote opportunities.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Preconstruction Manager will provide clients with quality customer service, coordinate with vendors and clients, and communicate with internal team members. This leader will be a hands-on team player who isn't afraid to creatively solve problems and delegate tasks to their team accordingly. This person needs to be relationship driven and collaborative.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead all preconstruction services including sales, design, budgeting, and development of GMP/bid pricing. </li><li>Review the overall scope of work to be completed to determine the types of work, basic materials, and project duration for construction </li><li>Analyze project specifications, including but not limited to sketches, blueprints, and sample layouts, to assist with estimated costs and pricing </li><li>Work with the operations team throughout the preconstruction process in reviewing plans, specifications, and general project requirements </li><li>Builds effective relationships with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients </li><li>Identifies potential problems and solutions before they escalate using their problem solving and critical thinking </li><li>Ability to manage multiple preconstruction projects </li><li>Attend on-site pre-bid/proposal conferences and site visits </li><li>Performs other duties associated with this position as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management or Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering </li><li>Minimum of 10+ years' experience; experience in Manufacturing is preferred </li><li>Proficient with Onscreen Takeoff </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite </li><li>Detail-oriented, with strong organization skills </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment </li><li>Possess a strong work ethic </li></ul> <p>Evans General Contractors, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.</p>
