<p>The School of Communications at Webster University invites applications for an associate professor position in Sound Recording & Engineering to serve at least one three-year term as Chair of the Department of Audio Aesthetics & Technology.</p> <p>We are searching for a colleague who combines extensive professional experience as a recording engineer and producer with several years of success in a higher education faculty role, appropriate for appointment at the associate professor rank. A track record of teaching success is required; a broad portfolio of teaching experience across multiple courses and areas of curriculum is desired. Experience with educational administration is highly desired; evidence of the desire and capacity to succeed as a department chair is required. The successful candidate will have broad knowledge of the field, an area or areas of specialization, and preferably, ability to bridge to other areas of study in the department and school.
