<p>The Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program is inviting applications for master's (preferred) or baccalaureate prepared, part-time Clinical Instructors for the Summer 2025 and Fall 2025 semesters (May-August, August-December 2025).</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Earned MOT/MSOT (preferred) or Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or BSOTA. </li><li>Two years (fulltime) clinical experience. </li><li>Licensed as an OTR in South Carolina. </li><li>Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities: Teaches in on-campus simulation laboratory, skills laboratory, and/or clinical setting</p> <p>supervising first- or second-year entry-level occupational therapy doctoral students. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Organize and plan clinical instruction for students. </li><li>Communicate weekly with Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, Program Director, and/or Course Instructor. </li><li>Provide feedback on all required clinical paperwork. </li><li>Participate in course orientation (Adjunct Orientation Day, August 2025). </li><li>Read adjunct faculty and student handbooks. </li><li>Orient to the clinical facility if not employed in the facility. </li><li>Submit all needed paperwork, criminal background check, drug screen, and vaccination records for hire. </li><li>Assure completion of necessary student records/reports by designated due date and forward to Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and/or Course Instructor. </li><li>Report midterm warnings to the Course Instructor and/or Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for processing. </li><li>Role model professional behavior and appearance. </li></ul> <p>Start Date: May 2025 or August 2025</p> <p>Application Deadline: Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.</p> <p>Application Process:</p> <ul> <li>Provide a letter of interest (referencing position number 25-31). </li><li>Three (3) letters of reference. </li><li>Curriculum vitae. </li><li>Copies of all transcripts (official transcripts will be required of the successful candidate); and </li><li>FMU faculty application. </li></ul> <p>To obtain a copy of the faculty application, please click here.</p> <p>Please send all material to: Dr. Charlene Wages, Vice President for Administration.
