By blending people-centric leadership with disciplined operational strategies and purpose-driven growth, Barry-Wehmiller has become a $3 billion organization with nearly 12,000 team members united by a common belief: to use the power of business to build a better world.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Supply Chain Leader will lead and support the Supply Chain function to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders and the cost-effective use of equipment and inventories.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Provide vision and execution of business process improvements and system enhancements for greater control, operating efficiencies, and best practices. </li><li>Lead, coach, and develop resources towards better supply chain processes, performance metrics, and business analytics. </li><li>Plan, manage and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand </li><li>Identify cost reduction strategies through supplier relationship management, driving supply chain team member communication across divisions, leveraging BI tools, and establishing best-in-class sourcing strategies. </li><li>Execute strategies that consider product development, cost reduction, cost avoidance, and product requirements. </li><li>Initiate and participate in events to engage team members in identifying and implementing process improvements, including process checks to ensure daily standard work is being completed and meeting business needs of on-time, quality, and cost. </li><li>Effectively respond to customer needs to ensure on-time delivery. </li><li>Support SQDC Visual Management Implementation and Utilization for the Supply Chain team and in conjunction with other functions. </li><li>Implement supply chain tools and processes that continuously drive out non-value activity for the supply chain team, internal/external customers, and suppliers.
