<p>TVHS Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Implement TVSC attendance policies and procedures. </li><li>Oversee daily TVHS student attendance records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with </li></ul> <p>district and state requirements.</p> <ul> <li>Identify patterns of absenteeism and tardiness, developing strategies to address and </li></ul> <p>reduce chronic absenteeism.</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement attendance intervention plans for students with excessive </li></ul> <p>absences or tardiness.</p> <ul> <li>Build positive relationships with students and families to discuss attendance concerns. </li><li>Collaborate effectively with counselors, social workers, and teachers to address </li></ul> <p>underlying causes of absenteeism and create a culture that promotes strong attendance.</p> <ul> <li>Partner with community organizations to provide resources and support for families </li></ul> <p>struggling with attendance issues.</p> <ul> <li>All of the other duties as assigned by building administration. </li></ul> <p>K-8 Building Responsibilities:</p> <p>o Weekly collaboration with building principal/secretaries on attendance tracking and</p> <p>prevention/intervention strategies.</p> <p>o Oversee daily TVSC student attendance records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with</p> <p>district and state requirements.</p> <p>o Develop and implement attendance intervention plans for students with excessive</p> <p>absences or tardiness.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>? Master's degree in education/special education or other related field.</p> <p>? Successful K-12 educational experience.</p> <p>? Strong communication and organizational skills.</p> <p>? Ability to work with diverse student populations and with community stakeholders.</p>
