This role serves as a key point of contact for staff regarding HR and benefits-related matters, including onboarding, health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement. </li><li>Assist with onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes. </li><li>Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with district policies. </li><li>Provide guidance to employees on benefits, leaves of absence (FMLA, sick leave, etc.), and HR procedures. </li><li>Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and district policies. </li><li>Support recruitment and hiring processes, including posting vacancies, reviewing applications, and processing new hires. </li><li>Collaborate with payroll to ensure correct benefit deductions and leave balances. </li><li>Respond to audits, surveys, and data requests related to HR and benefits. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a school district or public sector. </li><li>Working knowledge of employee benefits, labor law, and HR best practices. </li><li>Excellent communication, organization, technology, and problem-solving skills. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must pass federal and local background checks; </li><li>Must have reliable transportation; </li><li>Must complete all pre-employment requirements before the start date; </li><li>Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. </li></ul> <p>Hours/Wage</p> <ul> <li>Pay Range - $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 </li><li>Contract to be negotiated </li></ul> <p>Application Procedure</p> <ul> <li>Apply online via our website at www.winchesterschools.org using Applitrack.
