As a member of the team at Trinity, you'll assemble mechanical units, fabricate parts/components, subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tolls, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment. You will fit, align, calibrate and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements. You will also repair units or products that have failed to meet requirements, prepare materials and surfaces for coverage with glue and insulation material.</p> <p>What you will need:</p> <ul> <li>General knowledge of railcar service equipment types </li><li>Knowledge and understanding of hand tools </li><li>Ability to follow technical instructions and procedrues </li><li>Ability to apply IMO and Company procedures to perform maintenance, assessment, repair, and testing of service equipment </li><li>Ability to interpret gasket applicability/serviceability specifications </li><li>Able to perform visual inspections for corrosion and seating surface imperfections </li><li>Ability to follow blueprint drawings and specifications </li></ul>
