Our Yard Jockey's strive for integrity and reliability, while building trusting relationships with our team.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Communicate with Dispatcher/Router for truck/trailer and door assignments</p> </li><li> <p>Keep assigned equipment coupled</p> </li><li> <p>Move trailers between buildings as directed by Router or Warehouse Supervisor</p> </li><li> <p>Load, unload or merge loads between environments</p> </li><li> <p>Stage shuttle trailers nightly for shuttle drivers</p> </li><li> <p>Set up trailers for backhaul with tractor and empty pallet</p> </li><li> <p>Place backhauls in correct door to be unloaded by warehouse</p> </li><li> <p>Make sure all equipment is paired and ready for next day's deliveries</p> </li><li> <p>Work with mechanics nightly</p> </li><li> <p>Must attend all required company meetings</p> </li><li> <p>All other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Stay updated by following US Foods on any of our social media platforms at the bottom of the page!</p> <p>Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
