<p>The Driver plays a vital role in safely transporting patients on and off the premises. They will be trained as a Behavioral Health Tech and work on the unit when not transporting patients.</p> <p>Part-Time Position</p> <p>Responsible for safely transporting patients to and from appointments, activity trips, airport shuttle service and other special events.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>Pick up or transports visitors or staff as needed.</p> <p>Transport patients for admissions and discharges.</p> <p>Assure that all passengers are wearing seatbelts before the vehicle is started.</p> <p>Drive company facility vehicle to pick-up supplies or equipment, as needed.</p> <p>Respond and adhere to "on call" schedule as required.</p> <p>Accurately and appropriately complete all transportation documentation.</p> <p>Maintain vehicle log(s) and report maintenance issues to appropriate facility staff.</p> <p>Ensure all company vehicles are kept clean and functional.</p> <p>Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.? When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.?
