<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT PRN</p> <p>Location: Elwyn, PA</p> <p>Status: PRN</p> <p>Shift: Any shift/day including weekends and holidays</p> <p>Incentive: Shift Differential for 2nd and 3rd shift</p> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>This role impacts participants lives by providing essential personal care services and health support.</p> <p>Position Details:</p> <p>This program provides services to a community specifically comprised of deaf seniors. All candidates must be willing to learn American Sign Language (ASL).</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct ongoing participant assessments and monitoring.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide assistance with daily activities, including toileting, grooming, and meals.</p> </li><li> <p>Aid in maintaining physical activity and exercise routines.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify safety hazards and respond to emergencies.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with recreational activities, meal service, and housekeeping.</p> </li><li> <p>Report any changes in participant's condition to center staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Escort participants to appointments and assist with transportation.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail/elderly population or if less than one (1) year of experience, must receive appropriate training from the PACE organization upon hiring.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be willing to learn American Sign Language (ASL).
