This position requires a NJ and PA Nursing license or a Compact License.</p> <p>The Education Specialist BSN facilitates the development of care giving staff in the application of the care delivery process along with the delivery of nursing care.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Facilitates orientation, in-services, CPR training and continuing education programs to support agency goals and objectives</p> </li><li> <p>Assures compliance with orientation policies and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Functions as a professional role model and mentor</p> </li><li> <p>Completes and submits documentation for educational programming. Maintains unit records</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with educational projects as assigned</p> </li><li> <p>Contributes to the development and change of the health care delivery system by facilitating innovations in practice and education</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in Quality Improvement activities</p> </li><li> <p>Supports the activities that enhance the health status of the community served</p> </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Occasionally lift and/or carry 50 lbs. Frequently lift and/or carry 25 lbs. Being able to frequently lift or carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds is often more critical that being able to lift up to 50 lbs at a time. Stand and/or walk at least 6 hours in an 8-hour workday. Stooping (bending at the waist) and crouching (stooping and bending at the knee) required frequently. Handling (grasping) required frequently. Fingering (fine manipulation) occasionally required.</p> <p>EDUCATION:</p> <p>Current RN license in the State of New Jersey or Pennsylvania, based on work location, required. Bachelor's degree required. Masters preferred. BLS Instructor preferred.</p> <p>TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>At least 3 years of current clinical nursing experience. BLS Instructor status within 1 year of hire.</p> <p>MINIMUM - MAXIMUM COMPENSATION PAY RANGE:</p> <p>$69,450.00 - $111,120.00</p> <p>St Luke's University Health Network is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
