<p>Additional Information</p> <p>Please note:</p> <ul> <li>Harvard University requires a pre-employment reference and background screening. </li><li>Harvard University is unable to provide work authorization and/or visa sponsorship. </li><li>This position has a 90-day orientation and review period. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>PsyD or PhD or equivalent work experience required </li><li>Minimum of 7 years' relevant work experience </li></ul> <p>Position Description</p> <p>Reporting to the Chief of Behavioral Health, this part-time Psychologist provides assessment and clinical care for a diverse population of Harvard employees and their dependents. Facilitates the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment,?consultation, and referral of patients for appropriate care. Provides?problem-specific, solution-focused care in a short-term therapy model.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Facilitates the clinical management of patients through the process of evaluation, diagnosis, consultation, and referral to the appropriate resources. </li><li>Provides individual, group, and crisis intervention. </li><li>Coordinates out-patient visits to ensure timely access to the appropriate services. </li><li>Identifies and monitors high risk patients and expedites an individualized crisis management plan. </li><li>Develops and maintains mechanisms to assure continuity of care for individuals requiring acute care. </li><li>Assists and participates in the development of treatment plans consistent with the policies and procedures of the Behavioral Health Service. </li><li>Supports primary care model. </li><li>Manages caseload of 32-40 patients appropriately. </li><li>Documents all patient contacts accurately and in a timely manner. </li><li>Manages clinically expected outcomes to treatment. </li><li>Makes appropriate referrals. </li><li>Identifies and assesses appropriateness of care and accessibility. </li></ul> <p>PROFESSIONAL/TEAM WORKPLACE ACCOUNTABILITY:</p> <ul> <li>Works in collaboration with multi-disciplinary team. </li><li>Participates in quality assurance/improvement activities in compliance with AAAHC standards and identifies areas for improvement. Adheres to HUHS documentation standards and monitoring. </li><li>Demonstrates dependable work ethic. </li></ul> <p>COMPLIANCE:</p> <ul> <li>Adheres to the expectations and professional responsibilities of the department. </li><li>Employs the standards, practices, and procedures of the department. </li><li>Completes and complies with HUHS training requirements including HIPAA Privacy and Security. </li><li>Reports non-compliance incidents to the supervisor, manager, and/or Compliance Officer. </li></ul>
