<p>About the Opportunity</p> <p>Join Mercy University's Office of Accessibility as a Staff Part-Time Proctor for the Office of Disability Services (ODS), where you'll play an essential role in supporting students with disabilities achieve their academic goals. This position offers flexible scheduling and the chance to make a meaningful impact on student success.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Administer accommodated exams in a supportive, distraction-free environment </li><li>Ensure testing accommodations are implemented according to individual student needs </li><li>Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with sensitive student information </li><li>Collaborate with faculty and ODS staff to coordinate exam schedules and requirements </li><li>Monitor testing sessions while providing appropriate assistance when needed </li><li>Document and report any testing irregularities or concerns </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred </li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Understanding of or willingness to learn about disability services and accommodations </li><li>Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain professional boundaries </li><li>Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision </li></ul> <p>Why You'll Love Working Here</p> <p>Mercy University values diversity, equity, and inclusion in our workplace and student body.
