<p>Job Summary</p> <p>To assist surgical team during operative procedures by preparing sterile equipment for the operation and passing instruments, sponges and sutures to the operating team. Assist with inventory, sterilization of instruments, prepare and select equipment for procedures, transfer of patients as needed, turnover and transfer of instruments to CSPD/Decontamination and putting equipment back in place. Our mission is guided by our Strategic Principles and has three critical components; patient care, education and research that together enhance our contribution to society.</p> <p>Required Qualifications*</p> <p>Intermedate:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Certification or satisfactory completion of an equivalent Surgical Technology training program, or a program pending immediate accreditation. </li><li>Highly motivated and organized. </li><li>Good interpersonal/team skills. </li></ul> <p>Senior Level:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program. </li><li>Minimum 3 years experience as a Surgical Technologist </li></ul> <p>Both:</p> <ul> <li>Must have a commitment to contributing to a positive department culture </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a team in addition to being able to take direction </li><li>Able to prioritize tasks quickly </li></ul> <p>Physical requirements: This position requires moderate standing/walking, as well as lifting, positioning, pushing and/or transferring of patients.</p> <p>Work Schedule</p> <ul> <li>Hours: 40 hours </li><li>Shift/Days: 8 hour shifts Day/Eve rotator 7a-3p, 11a-7p, 3p-11p </li><li>Call and Holiday obligation </li></ul> <p>Modes of Work</p> <p>Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
