<p>The Preble County ESC is seeking qualified applicants to serve as an educational aide in our ED classroom program. This is a full-time (Days based on School Calendar) position with a start date of August 2025.</p> <p>Description: Under immediate supervision, provide assistance to the teachers of students in ED program in preparation and presentation of activities, supervision, and fulfilling behavior management plan directives.</p> <p>Salary: Hourly</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure safety of students </li><li>Maintain respect at all times for confidential information </li><li>Interact in a positive manner with students, staff, parents and administrators </li><li>Assist in the preparation and presentation of teacher planned activities </li><li>Supervise and monitor student in all school settings based on behavioral management plans </li><li>Work with other ED staff in team decision making </li><li>Assist students in creation of recovery plans based on behavior management plans developed by teachers/supervisors </li><li>Assist in completion of necessary documentation and paperwork for charting behavior and academic progress </li><li>Attend work regularly and punctually </li><li>Demonstrate positive work ethic </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma </li><li>Work with students with behavioral difficulties </li><li>Ohio Educational Aide certificate </li><li>Clear background check </li><li>Physically capable to apply CPI techniques when necessary for student/staff safety </li></ul>
