As an Audit Director you will provide independent and objective audit and advisory services that help Fidelity manage risk, improve customer service, and enhance business performance. Our primary motivation is to drive positive change throughout the firm.</p> <p>The Expertise and Skills You Bring</p> <ul> <li>BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study. </li><li>Professional audit certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA) and/or registration/licensing preferred. </li><li>12+ years of external and internal audit or related risk/control experience, preferably in capital markets. </li><li>In-depth knowledge of audit practices, tools, techniques, concepts, and trends </li><li>Teammate and leader who works constructively with others to achieve team goals and provide departmental thought leadership. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple engagements and lead team priorities and workload. </li><li>Strong problem solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills. </li><li>Commitment to innovative, collaborative, and digital working style. </li><li>Excellent presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills. </li><li>Hands-on work style and 'can do' attitude with a strong bias for action. </li><li>Experience in capital markets is a plus. </li></ul> <p>The Team</p> <p>The Audit Director will be responsible for leading business and/or integrated audits in support of Fidelity Institutional businesses. You will determine scope, oversee testing, review workpapers, and coordinate with risk and compliance partners to deliver high-quality results through a team of multi-disciplined auditors. Working with Group Leadership, you will align audit objectives to strategy, deliver impactful outcomes, and contribute to domain and department initiatives. Responsibilities include and are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the Team Leader in managing overall workload as well as short and long-term goals of the team. </li><li>Lead multiple audits in varying stages, including those of greatest complexity. </li><li>12+ years of external and/or internal audit or related risk/control experience. </li><li>Direct the use of strategic and data-analytics techniques to more effectively identify and evidence control deficiencies. </li><li>Perform and review audit test work including organizing and analyzing data, testing controls and documenting results. </li><li>Reviews audit reports drafted by the team to ensure issues identified, including resulting management action plans, are clearly described and include related implications to the business or enterprise. </li><li>Coach and mentor associates of all levels on audit execution, capital markets concepts, and stakeholder engagement. </li><li>Build strong, trust-based relationships with audit teams and business partners; act as a credible challenger while enabling responsible innovation. </li></ul> <p>The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$222,000 per year.</p> <p>Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.</p> <p>Base salary is only part of the total compensation package.
