The ideal candidate will contribute to multi-disciplinary project teams, work with engineers, project managers, and siting and permitting staff during all phases of the execution and delivery of projects and proposals. This position requires strong organizational and strategic communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and successfully engage and foster strong client relationships.</p> <p>Successful candidates will join a rapidly growing portfolio with abundant upward mobility opportunities. Join our team and help us lay the foundation for future progress.</p> <p>In this role you will:</p> <ul> <li>Identify public engagement and outreach needs for client projects, including the development of client or project specific Communications and Engagement Plans. </li><li>Understand the regulatory requirements of local and state governments related to required public engagement for electric transmission infrastructure. </li><li>Develop strategies to clearly communicate project information to internal and external stakeholders, including the project need and benefit, schedules, site or route selection, construction processes, and engineering design by using a variety of platforms from traditional materials and website and social media. </li><li>Coordinate and participate in the development of outreach materials to client standards using AP style for creating content. </li><li>Interact with client development teams, regulators, local stakeholders, and internal Jacobs team members. </li><li>Participate and coordinate in-person and virtual open house platforms to provide project information to the public and gather and catalog public comments. </li></ul> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Policy, or related field </li><li>Three-five years of experience in electric transmission, renewables, utilities or other applicable experience in communications and public engagement. </li><li>Travel up to 20% of the time and driving up to 4 hours for project meetings. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Microsoft Office products. </li><li>Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Strong organizational skills, a collaborative approach, and proven consensus-building ability. </li><li>Applicable certifications: Certified Public Participation Professional (CP3), Master Certified Public Participation Professional (MCP3), International Association for Public Participation (IAP2), or similar. </li></ul> <p>#LI-AC4</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Minimum</p> <p>59,900.00</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Upper</p> <p>85,000.00</p> <p>Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
