We have several locations across the US and are looking for new Associates to join our team!</p> <p>POSITION PURPOSE</p> <ul> <li>This role is for 2nd Shift (2:30pm-11:00pm)* The Process Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventative maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the blending processing systems and associated plant utilities. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, optimizes system performance, leads troubleshooting efforts, and provides expertise in operational enhancements. </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on various equipment and systems, including purified water systems, plant utilities, and liquid blending process equipment. </li><li>Purified Water Systems: Maintain and troubleshoot purified water systems, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Plant Utilities: Perform maintenance of plant utilities such as compressed air, steam, and water distribution systems. </li><li>Liquid Blending Process Equipment: Maintain and troubleshoot liquid blending process equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production specifications. </li><li>Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting safety inspections and training. </li><li>Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders and safety reports following cGMP and Data Integrity guidelines </li><li>Problem-Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, implementing effective solutions. </li><li>Coordination: Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks, coordinating with other departments as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience: Several years of experience in maintenance or a related field, with leadership experience preferred. </li><li>Specific experience with purified water systems, plant utilities, and liquid blending process equipment is highly desirable. </li><li>Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and process control systems, as well as familiarity with purified water systems, and liquid blending process equipment. </li><li>Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization. </li><li>Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. </li><li>Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and organizational skills. </li></ul> <p>PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS</p> <ul> <li> <p>Unscheduled Downtime:</p> </li><li> <p>Measure the total time equipment is out of operation due to unexpected failures. Lower downtime indicates better maintenance practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Reactive Maintenance Work Hours:</p> </li><li> <p>Track the hours spent on unplanned maintenance tasks. A lower percentage of reactive maintenance suggestions suggests a more proactive approach.</p> </li><li> <p>Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF):</p> </li><li> <p>Calculate the average time between equipment failures. A higher MTBF indicates more reliable equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Work Order Cycle Time:</p> </li><li> <p>Measure the time taken to complete maintenance work orders from initiation to completion. Shorter cycle times reflect efficient maintenance processes</p> </li><li> <p>Preventive Maintenance Compliance:</p> </li><li> <p>Track the percentage of scheduled preventive maintenance tasks completed on time. High compliance rates indicate effective preventive maintenance planning</p> </li><li> <p>Equipment Availability:</p> </li><li> <p>Measure the percentage of time equipment is available for use. Higher availability rates suggest effective maintenance and minimal downtime</p> </li><li> <p>Quality of Repairs:</p> </li><li> <p>Assess the quality of maintenance work by tracking repeat failures or rework.
