<p>We are accepting applications for individuals who meet our minimum qualifications and who can provide instruction within the following areas:</p> <p> </p> <p>Traffic Safety: This includes teaching state-mandated Group Dynamics and Multiple Offender courses for individuals convicted of operating while intoxicated (OWI). These courses focus on behavior change, substance use awareness, and responsible decision-making, in alignment with Wisconsin Department of Transportation (Trans 106) guidelines.</p> <p>Pay will vary by course being taught. Under the direct supervision of the Associate Dean/Instructional Manager, the instructor is responsible for providing instruction to students within the assigned and approved instructional delivery system and in accordance with the mission, goals, policies and procedures of the District. The instructor is responsible for providing an active learning environment to enable students to demonstrate course competencies, and creating a student learning centered environment that places learning at the center of educational experiences.Requirements may vary according to the instructional area and position.</p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's or master's degree in counseling, psychology, behavioral studies, or social work. </li><li>Completion of at least one accredited college-level course (minimum 45 hours) in either Substance Use Disorder education/treatment or in group counseling or group processes. </li><li>A minimum of 24 months of directly related occupational experience in Substance Use Disorder counseling, education, treatment, group work, or group counseling.
