Only applications submitted through our website will be considered.</p> <p>School Lane Charter School is seeking a 5th Grade Math Teacher for the upcoming school year.</p> <p>An SLCS teacher is responsible for planning, instruction, activities and assessments based on the SLCS curriculum. Teachers are tasked with creating an integrated instructional program that supports an inclusion-based learning approach fostering a safe environment that respects academic and cultural diversity. Additionally, teachers are expected to work together with other teaching and support professionals in a collaborative manner to provide teaching strategies and methods that address a wide range of learning styles, individual needs, interests, abilities, and maturity levels of students.</p> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Education or related field </li><li>Appropriate Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification (i.e., Elementary K-6, Grades 4-6) </li><li>Understanding and commitment to inclusive learning </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment </li><li>Strong research, planning, and organizational skills </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to positively interact with students to encourage development </li><li>Experience with MS Office, Google Suite </li></ul> <p>Our mission is to create a safe learning environment, physically, intellectually, emotionally and morally, so that all students can learn.
