<p>Overview</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Provides support to the operation of the Laboratory by assisting with pre-analytical and post-analytical processes resulting in optimal patient outcomes. Responsible for assigned shifts and subject to overtime and call back as required. Performs other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Performs phlebotomy and specimen collections.</p> <p>Assesses and maintains quality of specimens.</p> <p>Communicates with patients and customers.</p> <p>Assesses specimens.</p> <p>Performs urine drug screen collections and industrial screening as required.</p> <p>Supports life long learning</p> <p>Completes assigned goals.</p> <p>Specifications</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>Minimum Required</p> <p>Preferred/Desired</p> <p>Hospital phlebotomy experience.</p> <p>Education</p> <p>Minimum Required</p> <p>Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
