This position is based fully onsite at our Downtown Tulsa office.</p> <p>What You Will Do</p> <p>Perform engineering services, which may include:</p> <ul> <li>Building and maintaining capacity and reliability models in Synergi Gas hydraulic modeling software </li><li>Collaborating with Commercial, Engineering, Capital Execution, and Operations to develop long term plans </li><li>Identifying scenarios and solutions for extreme weather and environmental conditions, including their impact on pipeline system performance. </li><li>Developing scenarios for system capacity, demand, & reliability analysis for asset capacity planning </li><li>Validating asset information, strategy, and policy recommendations from respective asset management, integrity management, operations, and engineering groups to ensure asset risk mitigation plans are effective </li></ul> <p>Coordinate and Perform a basic level of engineering activities.</p> <p>Coordinate, assist, and perform engineering activities relative to the design, operation, and maintenance of company pipeline and storage systems and related facilities.</p> <p>Help with project coordination among area regions, departments (Commercial, Operating, and Customer Services), and contractors including:</p> <ul> <li>Bid proposals and contracts </li><li>Line extensions </li><li>Construction and relocation projects </li></ul> <p>Provide technical and engineering assistance to management, employees, governmental/regulatory personnel, contractors, customers, and</p> <p>others on matters including:</p> <ul> <li>Meter and regulator settings </li><li>Equipment/system design </li><li>Pipeline sizes </li><li>Pipeline modeling </li><li>Database analyses </li><li>Growth planning </li><li>Emergency valve isolation plans for pipeline systems </li><li>Policies and procedures </li></ul> <p>Review, summarize, and prepare:</p> <ul> <li>Engineering studies </li><li>Pipeline bid proposals </li><li>Construction contracts </li><li>Status/activity reports </li><li>Job orders </li><li>Purchase requisitions </li></ul> <p>Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.</p> <p>Employee may perform additional tasks as assigned.</p> <p>What You Will Need</p> <p>Minimum Bachelor's Degree engineering</p> <p>Working knowledge of piping plan standards and related governmental regulations.</p> <p>Demonstrated ability with application of math, algebraic formulas, calculus, and statistics.</p> <p>Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and software such as AutoCAD, Stoner, Excel, Access, and other relevant software.</p> <p>Experience and training related to:</p> <ul> <li>Interpersonal/communication skills </li><li>Customer services field policies and procedures </li><li>Transmission/distribution pipeline operations </li><li>Company/governmental operating and safety procedures </li><li>Line extension and relocation policies and procedures </li></ul> <p>Demonstrated ability to identify, research, evaluate, and prioritize problems or specific situations and coordinate appropriate action/response.</p> <p>Demonstrated ability to research and prepare pipeline construction contracts, pipeline capacity lease (PCL) requests, budget projects, job orders, material requisitions, engineering studies, and correspondence.</p> <p>Demonstrated ability to read and interpret governmental regulations, blueprints, contracts, manuals, specifications, charts, surveys, load studies, and multiple reports and correspondence.</p> <p>Demonstrated ability to interact, negotiate, advise, and communicate effectively.</p> <p>Demonstrated ability to develop information and make presentations to groups and individuals.</p> <p>Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.</p> <p>Preferred Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification</p> <p>Minimum Applicable driver's license.</p> <p>Mobility to travel in and around plant and office facilities and around job sites out of doors.</p> <p>Able to operate tools and equipment required.</p> <p>Communicate and exchange information; conduct oral presentations.</p> <p>Visual abilities to perform job responsibilities.</p> <p>Are you being referred by a ONE Gas employee?
