This position involves coordinating schedules, documentation, and technical requirements while working closely with the Field Engineering Manager and project teams. It's an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience in project execution within the nuclear sector.</p> <p>What You'll Do Here:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate project requirements with drafting, materials management, production, quality, and shipping teams. </li><li>Assist in preparing schedules, manpower charts, and project documentation. </li><li>Support cost tracking, budget updates, and project forecasting. </li><li>Participate in risk analysis and help resolve project challenges. </li><li>Prepare material and labor take-offs from drawings and bills of materials. </li><li>Conduct project reviews for compliance with codes and standards. </li><li>Maintain accurate records and assist with invoicing and contract documentation. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring To The Team:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil engineering. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. </li><li>Good communication skills (written and verbal). </li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (orthographic and isometric). </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project). </li><li>Interest in learning cost control, document management, and fabrication processes. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with CAD software. </li><li>Knowledge of welding processes and material inventory management. </li><li>Previous experience in construction or fabrication (co-op or full-time). </li></ul> <p>Aecon fosters belonging within and across our organization.
