<p>Job Title: Manager, Accounting</p> <p>Location: Remote, California</p> <p>Department: Accounting</p> <p>Reports To: Controller</p> <p>Job Type: Full time/Exempt</p> <p>Overview: The Accounting Manager oversees the accounting department's day-to-day operations and ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. This position involves managing a team of accountants, providing leadership and guidance in financial processes, including the preparation and review of financial statements. The Accounting Manager is responsible for maintaining strong internal controls, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and adhering to tax regulations. Key responsibilities include overseeing the month-end and year-end closing processes, managing the general ledger, coordinating audits, and developing accounting policies and procedures. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage complex financial projects and systems.
