<p>Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Unified Communications (UC) Administrator to support the Defense Intelligence Agency, on-site in multiple locations. The UC Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing secure voice and video communications infrastructure, supporting mission-critical operations, and leading technical refresh efforts across multiple classified environments.</p> <p>Clearance Level: Active TS with SCI eligibility</p> <p>Available Locations:</p> <ul> <li>Washington, DC </li><li>Norfolk, VA </li><li>Charlottesville, VA </li><li>Tampa, FL </li><li>Miami, FL </li><li>Memphis, TN </li><li>Honolulu, HI </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities for the UC Administrator include:</p> <ul> <li>Perform system upgrades and IAVA patches on Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) </li><li>Conduct IOS upgrades and maintain UC infrastructure </li><li>Lead UC implementation, installation, and technical refresh projects </li><li>Troubleshoot system failures, accessibility issues, and degraded performance </li><li>Monitor system performance and track usage metrics </li><li>Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for UC operations </li><li>Manage UC-related tickets, including categorization, resolution, and escalation </li><li>Perform root cause analysis and coordinate with engineering for design issues </li><li>Support knowledge management by updating articles and documenting solutions </li><li>Maintain asset inventory and accountability </li><li>May configure and manage UC monitoring systems </li></ul> <p>Qualifications for the UC Administrator include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>AT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience requirements (one of the following):</p> </li><li> <p>High School/GED + 9 years</p> </li><li> <p>Associate's degree + 7 years</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree + 5 years</p> </li><li> <p>Master's degree + 3 years</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated experience with Cisco UC technologies, including CUCM and SBC</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and lead site-level UC projects</p> </li><li> <p>Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S Government Top Secret with SCI eligibility with willingness and ability to obtain a CI Poly.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the UC Administrator include:</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range: $140,000 - $190,000 <em>depending on experience and location</em> </li><li>Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays </li></ul> <p>This job is open for applications on 7/17/25.
