<p>Starting at $19.67 per hour | Third Shift</p> <p>Potawatomi Hotel & Casino (PH&C), owned by the Forest County Potawatomi tribe, is one of the most comprehensive, state-of-the-art entertainment properties in the Midwest, including slot machines, table games, poker tables, bingo, event center, award-winning restaurants, full-service catering, and a luxury hotel, with a variety of business meeting and special occasion venues. In addition to being the premier entertainment destination in the Midwest, PH&C sets the bar high for responsible citizenship through its dedication to charitable giving, responsible gambling, and sustainability.</p> <ul> <li>*Maintain all decorative features of the casino to include inspection, repair, installation, modification, and/or construction with new materials. </li><li>*Measure and install carpet, tile, and other floor coverings and finishes. Measure, install, or replace ceiling tiles and suspended ceiling grid. </li><li>*Install, patch, and repair drywall and a variety of wall coverings. Maintain and repair all doors, door frames, and related hardware. </li><li>*Construct, modify, and repair cabinetry and all solid surface countertops. Assemble and modify partition style cubicles, workstations and related furniture. </li><li>*Perform routine inspections of all emergency egress doors and related hardware. </li><li>*Perform new construction and remodeling projects at the direction of Carpentry management. </li><li>*Complete maintenance requests as they are assigned in a timely, accurate manner. </li><li>*Assist and perform inspections, repairs, relocation, and installs of gaming equipment. </li><li>Remain knowledgeable about, and keep informed of industry changes, trends, equipment, and products in order to improve efficiency, productivity, and safety. </li><li>Ensure adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration safety requirements and company safety policies to assure the safety of company team members and guests. </li><li>Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of facilities maintenance and repair experience in a hotel and/or commercial setting are required. </li><li>Additional vocational education and/or apprentice training preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of building maintenance, applicable codes and regulations, and use of departmental equipment and supplies. </li><li>Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with Work Order Systems is preferred. </li><li>The ability to use basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and counting using whole numbers and fractions. </li><li>The ability to read and interpret written instructions, diagrams, blueprints, and schematics. </li><li>The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information. </li><li>The ability to interact with guests and team members at all levels of the organization professionally, including the ability to speak in front of small groups. </li><li>The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the property for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member is required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 100 pounds occasionally, with assistance. Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <p>The noise level is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free. While performing the duties of this job, the team member occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and at heights.
