<p>#LI-BL1 #LI-HYBRID</p> <p>Essential Functions and Primary Duties</p> <ul> <li> <p>Review federal and state corporate returns; Review high level federal and state partnership returns.</p> </li><li> <p>Train and supervise staff, review and evaluate their work.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform evaluations on lower level staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage compliance engagements, from budgeting to scheduling to managing staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Make suggestions to help improve efficiencies, within department and on engagements.</p> </li><li> <p>Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate interest and knowledge of client's business</p> </li><li> <p>Perform research and draft memoranda on corporate tax issues.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree with a preference of study in Accounting or related field</p> </li><li> <p>5+ years' of relevant work and industry experience</p> </li><li> <p>Prior experience managing engagements and clients</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently, but also work well with others</p> </li><li> <p>Enrolled Agent designation</p> </li><li> <p>Strong technical and broad based advisory and client management skills</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications Required</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li><li>6 years of experience in public accounting or related field </li><li>3 years supervisory experience </li><li>Must have active CPA or equivalent certification </li><li>Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements </li><li>Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally </li><li>Must be able to travel based on client and business needs </li><li>Proficient use of applicable technology </li></ul>
