<p>We are hiring an ESP/Paraprofessional at both Elementary Schools in Winthrop. These are full time positions for an entire school year.</p> <p>Job Description for Educational Support Professional (ESP - Paraprofessional)</p> <p>Qualifications: Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Degree is preferred)</p> <p>Reports to: Teacher(s) & Administration</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assists students individually and in groups in and out of the general education classroom </li><li>Performs all instructional activities as directed and overseen by a certified teacher(s) </li><li>Performs all non-direct instructional activities as directed by the teacher(s) </li><li>Performs instructional and non-instructional duties in a sub separate, resource room, or general education classroom within the building or in any other building as directed by the teacher (s) </li><li>Maintains the same level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information concerning students </li><li>Assisting students with toileting if needed (not required for this current opening) </li></ul> <p>Salary: According to the terms of the contractual agreement between the Winthrop School Committee and WTA.</p>
