<p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The program Clinician provides intensive in-home therapeutic treatment for DCF-referred families with young children who have substance use. Provides model specific intervention to promote recovery and positive parent-child attachment.</p> <p>Bilingual in Spanish and English required!</p> <p>Salary $60,000</p> <p>Sign on Bonus $3,000! $1,500 given at start and $1,500 given at one year of service</p> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or related license eligible field or a doctoral degree in Psychology is required. Experience working with substance use and/or young children is preferred. Develops and documents, clear clinical formulations and treatment plans that are individualized and measurable, developed in collaboration with the client/family and others as relevant.</p> <p>Demonstrates knowledge of psychopathology and other behavioral health concerns and primary modalities of psychotherapeutic intervention. Triages clinical emergencies and implements program specific safety and consultation protocols Utilizes best practices and evidenced based practice models where appropriate and adheres to model and program expectations.</p> <p>Demonstrates knowledge of internal and external levels of care, referral processes and resources. Makes clinically appropriate referrals for identified service needs in a timely manner.</p> <p>Communicates in a positive, effective manner with client, family, and all internal and external providers. Attends any required meetings.</p> <p>Meets direct service productivity goals as defined by program. Demonstrates knowledge of program/department/agency goals and target outcomes, and adheres to practice standards and to data collection and reporting protocols.</p> <p>Documents all client related information in compliance with agency policy.</p> <p>Attends and is prepared for scheduled supervision. Seeks additional supervision or consultation as needed and follows through with supervisory directives.</p> <p>Provides service in the office and/or community settings outside of the office (e.g., homes, schools, hospitals, institutions, other community locations) as defined by the program.</p> <p>Continues to develop knowledge and understanding about the history, traditions, values, family systems, and artistic expression of groups served as well as uses appropriate methodological approaches, skills, and techniques that reflect an understanding of culture.</p>
