<p>Hiring Department</p> <p>Biomedical Sciences</p> <p>University of Missouri-Kansas City</p> <p>School of Medicine</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine seeks part time, temporary teaching assistants to work with students and faculty for the Human Structure Function I, II, and III and Clinical Correlations courses, Medical Microbiology, Clinical Practice of Medicine 2, and Pathology 2 courses.</p> <p>The job duties include assisting faculty in the course, facilitating small group/laboratory activities, assisting with exams and clinical assessments, tutoring students that request additional assistance, and completing other duties for the courses as assigned by faculty. Teaching assistants would be housed at the Kansas City campus or St. Joseph campus but may need to facilitate on-site at both campuses as circumstances arise.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Applicant must have recently graduated with a Medical Degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.</p> <p>Applicant must have demonstrated high achievement in classes listed in Job Description posted above. Applicant must communicate well with students and faculty, have excellent verbal, written and organizational skills, and work effectively as a team member with other faculty.</p> <p>Applicant should also be a self-initiator and seek out opportunities to assist students and faculty.</p> <p>Application Materials</p> <p>To be considered, you must complete the application at https://www.umkc.edu/hr/careers/ including Legal Name, US employment eligibility, and current contact information.
