We are The Surprisingly Big Company, and we're right in your backyard.</p> <p>Build your career with West Liberty Foods and be a part of an exciting, collaborative team that becomes family!</p> <p>Opportunity Overview</p> <p>Position Detail</p> <p>Information</p> <p>Job Title</p> <p>Warehouse Operator</p> <p>Location</p> <p>Tremonton, UT</p> <p>Shift</p> <p>1st</p> <p>Base Hourly Wage</p> <p>$20.25 per hour</p> <p>Shift Premium</p> <p>None</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Warehouse Operator is responsible for operating the powered industrial truck and forklift to move product, equipment, or materials.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for operating a powered industrial truck and forklift safely. </li><li>Responsible for pre-operational inspections of the powered industrial truck and forklift. </li><li>Operate a scanner and learn the required transaction process. </li><li>Responsible for picking both fresh and frozen products. </li><li>Responsible for loading and unloading trucks along with completing the necessary documentation. </li><li>Maintenance and good housekeeping duties. </li><li>Responsible for cooler and freezer operations. </li><li>Repair and sort pallets as needed. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related experience is preferred. Experience in food manufacturing or processing is a plus. Previous experience operating a powered industrial truck and/or forklift. </li><li>Age: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. </li><li>Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available. </li><li>Certification: Must be able to become certified on operating equipment including powered industrial trucks and forklift. </li><li>Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. </li><li>Skills: Must be able to problem solve and perform basic math. Must be able to work independently without constant supervision. Must have good attention to detail. </li><li>Physical Abilities: </li><li>Ability to stand for long periods. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist. </li><li>Environmental: Ability to work in varying temperature conditions including cold temperatures. </li><li>Flexibility: Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands. </li><li>Compliance: Must practice good personal hygiene.
