<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Director provides leadership in developing and institutionalizing advanced analytics capabilities for transportation decision support and represents DTIM on multiple department-wide committees focusing on asset management and technology issues. This position works as a member of the leadership team for DTIM as well as with the WisDOT Secretary's Office to develop, review, and implement strategic plans and asset management and performance-based training programs.</p> <p>This position leads and manages the development and implementation of advanced analytics, data science, and decision support systems for asset management. This includes directing the development and implementation of predictive models, data pipelines, and decision support tools that improve how Wisconsin's transportation assets are analyzed, forecasted, and optimized for investment.</p> <p>The Office of Asset and Performance Management includes the Pavement Data Unit (PDU), responsible for collecting pavement distress data needed to assess pavement condition and performance data to guide development of viable improvement programs.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>This position is in schedule-range (81-01) with an annual salary of $127,920-$141,523, plus excellent benefits. A 2 year career executive trial period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>This state agency does not sponsor work visas.
