<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>First Class Heating, Cooling and Plumbing is looking for exceptional professionals to join our Accounts Payable Department. This position is responsible for all accounts payable activities; including vendor applications, invoice receipt, verification and posting. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, this position is part of a growing team of positive, motivated and professional individuals.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>3+ years' experience in accounts payable environment; </li><li>Proven experience in Accounts Payable </li><li>Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles </li><li>Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records </li><li>Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers </li><li>Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software </li><li>Customer service orientation and negotiation skills </li><li>High degree of accuracy and attention to detail </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Timely and accurate processing of: payables utilizing 3-way matching and resolve all pricing/receiving discrepancies </li><li>Review, code, and enter vender expense invoices </li><li>Reconcile vendor statements, research & resolve discrepancies </li><li>Handle all vendor correspondence via phone or email. </li><li>Receives, researches and resolves a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons. </li><li>Processing check payments as needed </li><li>Filing of accounts payable invoices as needed </li></ul>
