<p>Title: Tumbling Instructor (Recreation Coordinator)</p> <p>Reports to:Recreation Supervisor</p> <p>Salary:$17-$24 per hour</p> <p>Hours:Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays from 5:00-8:00pm</p> <p>Closing date:November 30th at 11:59pm</p> <p>Job Summary:Our tumbling instructors are responsible for planning, setup, implementation, and cleanup of a successful tumbling program at EB Shurts. This position works in conjunction with a second instructor.</p> <p>Specific Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Participate in pre-season staff orientation/training program. </li><li>Organize and lead tumbling activities. Instructors are expected to be actively involved with the children and parents registered for class. </li><li>Develop and implement curriculum that provides fun, creative and safe tumbling activities for participants. </li><li>Responsible for the program facility and all tumbling equipment </li><li>Tumbling instructors are expected to complete all reports in a timely fashion, i.e. daily attendance, accident reports, requisition forms, time cards. </li><li>Provide first aid as needed and complete appropriate accident report. </li><li>Emphasize and model proper behavior in class and around tumbling equipment. </li><li>Attend staff meetings. </li><li>Dress appropriately when on duty. </li><li>Follow all City of Waukesha work rules. </li><li>Return all keys and required equipment at the end of the season. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 16+ </li><li>Prior experience working with children recommended. </li><li>Strong leadership skills. </li><li>Strong organizational skills. </li><li>Mature, responsible personality. </li><li>Ability to communicate, be courteous and cooperate with other staff members and the public. </li></ul> <p>The City of Waukesha is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>
