Please visit our website at www.naii.com/careers to see more about what makes us a unique place to work.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>As the 2nd Shift Production Test Lead, you oversee testing operations for Power and I/O electronic products, ensuring that all test processes are executed accurately and efficiently during second shift. You are responsible for supporting test setups, troubleshooting issues, monitoring production floor activity, and ensuring a smooth handoff between first and second shift. Your leadership supports North Atlantic Industries' mission to deliver rugged, high-reliability electronics for aerospace and defense applications.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and coordinate daily testing operations performed by test operators on the 2nd shift across Power and I/O product lines. </li><li>Monitor the production test floor to ensure operators are actively engaged and testing is progressing per schedule. </li><li>Provide support to test operators on setup issues, functional test execution, and interpretation of test procedures. </li><li>Serve as the main point of contact for 2nd shift test-related issues, escalating technical concerns as needed to Engineering or Quality. </li><li>Ensure accurate documentation of test results and consistent adherence to established test procedures and quality standards. </li><li>Communicate shift status updates, in-process work, and any unresolved issues to 1st shift teams to ensure continuity. </li><li>Track production throughput and test completion rates, adjusting priorities as needed to meet delivery schedules. </li><li>Ensure ESD, safety, and cleanroom protocols are consistently followed on the test floor. </li><li>Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to identify and resolve recurring test or process inefficiencies. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Education Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. </li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics testing, preferably in a production environment. </li><li>Prior leadership experience in a production or test environment. </li><li>Ability to read and follow detailed test procedures and work instructions accurately. </li><li>Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and power supplies. </li><li>Experience supporting or coordinating production test activities. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics manufacturing. </li><li>Familiarity with testing of power supplies, multifunction I/O modules, or embedded systems. </li><li>Working knowledge of ERP or MES systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP). </li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills, especially in a cross-shift environment. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple test priorities and work independently with minimal supervision on 2nd shift. </li><li>Understanding of industry standards such as IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001. </li><li>Schedule: M-F 2nd Shift 3PM-11:30PM </li></ul> <p>North Atlantic Industries offer comprehensive and competitive packages including:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>Company-provided Life and AD&D Insurance </li><li>Voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance </li><li>Long-term Disability Insurance </li><li>Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) </li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP) </li><li>Tax-deferred 401K with company matching contributions </li><li>Vacation, holidays, sick </li><li>Employee tuition reimbursement </li><li>Business casual dress environment </li></ul> <p>North Atlantic Industries (NAI) is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunity for all persons in all facets of employment.
