This unit specializes in the care of the post-partum couplet. The care includes frequent assessments for post-partum complications of the mother and newborn including but not limited to preeclampsia, post-partum hemorrhage, and infant hypoglycemia. This unit specializes in offering emotional support to the new dyad while also providing extensive teaching and crucial education prior to discharge.</p> <p>Experience Required</p> <ul> <li>Previous hospital unit secretary, medical office assistant or medical records experience preferred. </li><li>Additional unit-specific qualification may be required. </li><li>Clerical, communication and customer service experience a plus. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent required. </li><li>Unit Secretary certification is desirable. </li></ul> <p>Special Requirements</p> <p>Part time days, 24 hours a week</p> <p>Hours: 7a-7:30p with weekend/holidays rotation</p> <p>Salary Min ($)</p> <p>USD $17.50</p> <p>Salary Max ($)</p> <p>USD $27.00</p>
