<p>Job Description</p> <p>Boston West Veterinary Emergency & Specialty, located in Natick, MA, is seeking veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our 9-month training and mentorship program, followed by a full-time ER position at our hospital. We are looking for individuals who are team oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable.</p> <p>During the 9-month mentorship, you will receive training at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Center (Mass Vet), a partner Emergency and Specialty hospital within the Ethos Veterinary Health network. You will have ample opportunity to grow your knowledge base and skills by working cohesively with many specialty and emergency departments. Training at both locations will provide a variety of settings, flow, caseload, and referral process, thus building a strong foundation in ER with close connections for consults and referrals. Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs, the ERi program has been developed around a curriculum of core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian. In addition to providing training around clinical knowledge and skills, the program also includes a focus on client and team member communication, professional skills, and life/work integration.</p> <p>The ER Immerse program utilizes a hybrid training approach incorporating simulation-based didactic components into authentic training experiences with live patients.
