<p>ANNOUNCEMENT OF SUMMER VACANCIES</p> <p>ESY 2025 - Preschool</p> <p>Special Education Teacher</p> <p>(10 Positions Total)</p> <p>Location: Salemwood</p> <p>(position contingent upon enrollment)</p> <p>Qualifications (Required):</p> <ul> <li>Valid Massachusetts Teacher Certification in the respective content area of Special Education. </li><li>Successful teaching experience. </li><li>Experience modifying and differentiating curriculum students within sub-separate and inclusion classes. </li><li>Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators. </li><li>Teachers must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications (Preferred):</p> <ul> <li>Experience working in the Malden Public Schools. </li><li>SEI Endorsement. </li><li>License in Moderate Special Education. </li></ul> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Plan and implement ESY Curriculum for students on IEP's. </li><li>Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records. </li><li>Keep folders/portfolios with student work. </li><li>Perform other related activities as required by the Program Coordinator. </li><li>Develop Progress Reports at the end of the ESY Program. </li></ul> <p>Duration:</p> <ul> <li>83 hours total to include the following: </li><li>Professional In-service Day (7/1/2025 - 3 hours). </li><li>20 days, Monday-Thursday, from July 7- August 7 (7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.). </li></ul> <p>Stipend: $37 an hour, $3,071 (20 days/5 hrs +1 inservice at 3 hours)</p> <p>Funding Source: Special Education</p> <p>To Apply: Apply formally on School Spring.
