<p>Parent Child Home Program (PCHP) Home Visitor</p> <p>To plan and implement two ½-hour weekly instructional visits for high risk young children with their parent in their home following the National PCHP Center guidelines. Every home visit includes interactive modeling and instructional strategies, using a book or toy provided by the program to be 'gifted' to the family for continued use in the home. PCHP is a literacy-based program that also encourages positive parent-child interactions and other opportunities to participate in family community activities.</p> <p>Home visitors also support families in accessing related services, school enrollment procedures and referrals.</p> <p>Home Visitors must maintain professional, confidential boundaries while providing services.</p> <p>All home visits are followed up with a weekly written report, submitted to the PCHP Coordinator.</p> <p>All home visitors administer required PCHP Assessments and the AGES and STAGES Questionnaire (ASQ).</p> <p>PCHP Home Visitors participate in a weekly 2-hour weekly meeting.</p> <p>Visitors must schedule and log home visits.</p> <p>Visitors must maintain accurate and complete records, submitted as required by Coordinator and collaborate with the coordinator in collecting program eligibility documentation.</p> <p>All Home Visitors plan and attend 2 Saturday Family Events each year.</p> <p>The Parent Child Home Program Home Visitors report to the PCHP Coordinator.</p> <p>Hours: up to 18 hours per week (2 hours per family plus 2 hour weekly supervision meeting, not to exceed 18 hours per week, depending on caseload).</p> <p>This is a School Year, grant-funded position</p> <p>Experience teaching in an early education program, supporting high-risk young families, and working directly with families in their home is preferred. Must have reading, speaking and writing skills in English. Ability to speak fluently in another language is a plus.</p> <p>The Public Schools of Brookline is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute through their teaching or practice to the diversity and excellence of the PSB community.</p> <p>The Public Schools of Brookline is an equal opportunity/affirmative action</p> <p>CFCE grant funded position</p> <p>3 home visitors have a budget of $9, 504 dollars/ 10 hours per week at $24 dollars per hour</p>
