The Occupational therapist is responsible for the evaluation, assessment, treatment planning, implementation and delivery of occupational therapy services to ensure positive patient outcomes. The OT assesses and documents the pediatric patient's current functional status using clinical observations, caregiver reports, standardized testing, occupational profile, strengths, and participation challenges. The OT analyzes information to address foundational deficits causing difficulties with skill development. This role provides Occupational Therapy sessions, and collaborates with families and caregivers in the clinic and throughout the community. The OT addresses goals and provides treatment that supports sensory-motor, cognitive, psychological, self-help ,fine and gross motor skills, paly, and behavioral development.
