<p>Kforce's client in Columbus, OH is hiring multiple Lead/VP Python AI/ML Developer where you will play a crucial role in an Agile team dedicated to enhancing, building, and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable.</p> <p>Key Tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Provide direction, oversight, and coaching for a team of entry-level to mid-level engineers working on basic to moderately complex tasks </li><li>Executes solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems </li><li>Work in an Agile development environment with team members, including Product Owners </li><li>Develop secure, high-quality production code, review and debug code written by others, and drive decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations </li><li>Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit, component, integration, and end-to-end testing </li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus and actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the end-to-end development life cycle </li><li>Influence peers and project decision makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies* Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years of applied experience </li><li>Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability </li><li>Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages: Python or Go </li><li>Practical cloud native experience </li><li>Exposure/Experience with AI developer tools & tech include code assistants (GitHub Copilot, Tabnine, Cursor), AI-powered IDEs (Cursor, Replit), specialized agents (Devin, Cline for dev workflows), and platforms for ML/NLP (Hugging Face) </li><li>Advanced understanding of Agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security </li><li>Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods </li><li>Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle </li><li>Knowledge of network engineering and firewall technology preferred </li></ul>
