Primary responsibilities include oversight of campus support functions including Information Technology Services (ITS), the physical plant department, construction, property management, campus police, development and management of the county budget, review of contracts, risk management, evening administration duties and workplace safety. Additional duties include projects that may be assigned by the President on an as needed basis. The jobholder presents information to the board of trustees, county commissioners, and other governing bodies as needed.</p> <p>Min Salary $135,687.86 Mid Salary $152,648.85 - We offer a competitive salary package that will be determined based on the candidate's experience level and qualifications related to the job. Compensation will be commensurate with your level of experience. Duties/Functions Difficult Challenges Contacts Education Required</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in construction/facilities management, engineering or a related field with credit or non-credit content in capital planning, budget/finance and/or construction/facilities management from a regionally accredited post-secondary institution. </li></ul> <p>Education Preferred Experience Required</p> <ul> <li>15 years of progressively responsible experience managing all areas of facilities including operations, maintenance, space planning, design, and construction. </li><li>3 years of experience as a senior manager of safety for a large complex organization </li><li>Experience with federal, state, and municipal laws, codes and other compliance requirements related to facilities projects. </li><li>Broad knowledge and experience in fiscal/resource management. </li><li>Experience managing large complex projects. </li><li>Experience with employee supervision including performance evaluation. </li></ul> <p>Experience Preferred KSA Required</p> <ul> <li>Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and key stakeholders. </li><li>Ability to maintain multiple priorities simultaneously in the face of a wide variety and high volume of complex issues. </li><li>Excellent oral and written communications skills. </li><li>Excellent customer service skills. </li><li>Excellent negotiation skills. </li></ul> <p>KSA Preferred Department/Job Specific Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work flexible hours. </li><li>Ability to handle emergencies calmly and responsibly in a timely manner. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands Posting Type Staff - Administration</p>
