<p>Spa Attendant II, Lincoln Park</p> <p>Work Mode: Onsite</p> <p>Location: Chicago, IL</p> <p>Opportunity</p> <p>Our Kohler Waters Spa team at Lincoln Park offers more than 50 innovative spa services using the healing properties of Earth's mineral-rich waters and provides an oasis of tranquility in the heart of a bustling Windy City neighborhood. Join our world-class team of spa professionals and help our guests renew and recharge while they experience five-star living at its finest.</p> <p>Specific responsibilities of a Spa Attendant include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Attend to women's or men's (same gender as associate) Respite Room to maintain order, cleanliness and amenities; replenish clean towel supply throughout the facility.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform rounds of the facility to ensure neatness and order.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend to the Reception Desk located in the lower level to accommodate client check-in for sandals, robes and lockers.</p> </li><li> <p>Understand basic RIO system operations for "view-only" purposes, thereby providing communication of service times and availability of services to guests.</p> </li><li> <p>Gather used linens from treatment rooms and assemble for pick-up by The American Club laundry staff; distribute clean linens to designated storage areas and/or treatment rooms.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist spa technicians with cleaning of baths between client treatments.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the maintenance staff with daily readings/testing of water in the Spa Relaxation</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain neatness and order around the Spa Relaxation Pool lounge area.</p> </li><li> <p>Advise Spa Hostess on food and beverage replenishment during the day.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist Group Coordinator with setup tasks involving special group requirements. For example, setup of signage and message boards, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Know and understand The American Club resort property and its businesses to provide information for guests.</p> </li><li> <p>Consistently maintain cleanliness of desk, reception area, retail centers, and if needed, flooring.</p> </li><li> <p>Inform Supervisor if additional staff is needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for knowing and performing proper opening/closing procedures as related to this position (see opening and closing checklist of responsibilities).</p> </li><li> <p>Provide food and beverage support and delivery of lunches, as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a high level of customer service for all spa guests.</p> </li><li> <p>Greet people immediately upon arrival.</p> </li><li> <p>Know what services, and amount of time for each service, each tech performs.</p> </li><li> <p>Know the proper procedures for emergency situations.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete an on-site certified CPR training course facilitated by Sports Core Fitness Trainers.</p> </li></ul> <p>This is a full-time position, working weekdays & weekends with shifts between 7:00am and 9:00pm.</p> <p>Skills/Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of high school diploma.</p> </li><li> <p>Prior computer and/or facility maintenance experience helpful.</p> </li><li> <p>Customer service-related experience required.</p> </li></ul> <p>Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.</p> <p>The hourly range for this position is $11.90 - $17.90 plus tips/gratuity.
