"2 Month Contract" with possible extension </li><li>Contract Rate: $71.00 - $75.00 / Hourly on W2 </li><li>REQUIREMENTS * </li><li>Able to Eligible / Able to Work on W-2 without Sponsorship </li><li>1-2 Years of GCP Cloud Engineering Experience </li><li>3+ Years of Cloud Engineering/DevOps/Software Engineering or Similar Experience </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Cloud Engineering & Delivery</p> <ul> <li>Design, build, and operate cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, performance, and security. </li><li>Implement GCP-based data platforms supporting batch, streaming, analytics, and AI/ML use cases using services such as BigQuery, Bigtable, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Looker, and Vertex AI. </li><li>Build and manage infrastructure as code (Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar) for consistent, repeatable cloud environments. </li><li>Contribute directly to greenfield platform builds as well as modernization and migration of existing workloads into GCP. </li></ul> <p>Platform Operations & Optimization</p> <ul> <li>Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Google Cloud Operations (Cloud Monitoring, Logging, Trace, Error Reporting). </li><li>Perform hands-on performance tuning and cost optimization, including query optimization, storage tiering, data lifecycle management, and rightsizing resources. </li><li>Assist with platform cost modeling and actively identify opportunities for cost savings across environments. </li><li>Participate in on-call or operational support rotations as needed to ensure platform stability. </li></ul> <p>Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
