The right Receiving Clerk checklist will include equal parts curious learner, innovator, administrator, detail driver, mentor, and motivator.</p> <p>To Provide positive support for our Culinary and Food and Beverage team by managing the unloading/loading of shipments to include inspecting products, and recording receipts in a professional and competent manner using established policies, procedures and expectations.</p> <p>Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Inventory Control staff to list expected deliveries </li><li>Receive daily food, alcoholic beverage, and supply item shipments and sign receipts </li><li>Unload packages from incoming trucks; including inspecting contents to ensure they are not damaged and arrived with in expiration date </li><li>Verify packages according to order and invoices for quantity, quality and price </li><li>Check in orders including properly counting, labeling, and storing of food and non-food inventories </li><li>Fill and deliver departmental requisitions to specified locations. Confirming with area leader that delivered items align with requisition </li><li>Maintain cleanliness in food storage areas and loading dock area </li><li>Practice FIFO methods daily </li><li>Keep area free of slip and fall hazards as well as tripping hazards </li><li>Receive departmental supplies and distribute to proper storage areas </li><li>Receive guest packages and communicate to Front Desk Hosts </li><li>Keep an accurate working log book to track deliveries </li><li>Inspect coolers and storerooms locking systems for safety and security </li><li>Inspect cooler and freezer temperatures, reporting any issues to Maintenance and moving product as necessary </li><li>Monitor and report loss prevention </li><li>Review expiration dates of products on hand.
