<p>Job Description</p> <p>Infosys - HRD - HR Business Partner (Individual Contributor)</p> <p>Infosys is seeking an HR Business Partner to join its Human Resources team. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role focused on supporting a defined business unit through core HR operations, employee lifecycle activities, and day-to-day people management support. The position is designed for mid-career HR professionals who enjoy being close to the business and executing established HR programs rather than owning enterprise-level HR strategy or leading teams.</p> <p>Role Scope and Structure</p> <ul> <li>This role reports to a senior HR leader and does not include direct people management responsibilities. The position focuses on execution, partnership, and operational excellence rather than setting enterprise-wide HR strategy. </li><li>The HR Business Partner will work closely with managers and employees to ensure effective HR service delivery, consistent application of policies, and a positive employee experience within the organization's guidelines and frameworks. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Basic:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Infosys will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. </li><li>5-6 years of progressive HR experience, primarily within a generalist or business partner capacity. </li><li>Location for this position is Hartford, CT / Raleigh, NC / Indianapolis, IN. This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in the office. Candidates must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate. Travel may be required up to 10% </li></ul> <p>Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time</p> <p>Role Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support and execute core HR operations and employee lifecycle activities for a defined employee population </li><li>Partner with managers to provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, and policy application </li><li>Execute unit-specific performance management processes within established frameworks </li><li>Support employee assimilation, hiring, and deployment activities in collaboration with recruiting and HR teams </li><li>Monitor employee governance processes and adherence to the code of conduct, escalating concerns as appropriate </li><li>Prepare and maintain standard HR reports, analytics, and metrics to support HR processes </li><li>Assist with periodic HR communications to ensure effective delivery of HR services </li><li>Support candidate and employee engagement efforts, including timely and fair feedback mechanisms </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Ability to handle sensitive employee situations with professionalism and sound judgment </li><li>Comfortable working within established HR policies and processes </li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail </li></ul> <p>The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
