<p>General Job Information</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>This position is located within the District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles (DC DMV), Ignition Interlock Device Program (IDD). The mission of the DMV is to promote the safe operation of motor vehicles and public safety while providing outstanding customer service. The purpose of IID program is to support efforts to prevent the customer from driving under the influence of alcohol substance and/or extend their enrollment in the program.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>The incumbent will conduct program analyses of a moderate scale and impact, concerning all aspects of current or projected operating programs for actual or potential effectiveness in achieving planned goals and objectives. Resolves customer issues, complaints, and data reporting inaccuracies related to IID program enrollment and participation. Collaborates with IID Program Coordinator who oversees the daily operation and performance of the IID program compliance, accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.</p> <p>Provides information and guidance to internal and external customers regarding driver license status, vehicle registration status, enrollment requirements, program activities, and other ISA related situations requiring a comprehensive understanding of the system.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION</p> <p>Specialized Experience: Specialized Experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, one (1) year of specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression.</p> <p>LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION</p> <p>None</p> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT</p> <p>The work is performed in an adequately heated, lighted and ventilated non-smoking environment. The work is primarily sedentary in nature.</p> <p>OTHER SIGNIFICANT FACTS</p> <p>Tour of Duty: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday</p> <p>Pay Plan, Series, and Grade: CS-0301-11</p> <p>Promotion Potential: No known promotion potential.</p> <p>Duration of Appointment: Career Service Permanent.</p> <p>Collective Bargaining Unit: This position is not covered under a collective bargaining agreement.</p> <p>Position Designation: This position is designated as Security Sensitive and therefore the incumbent of this position will be subject to enhanced suitability screening pursuant to Chapter 4 of DC personnel regulations, Suitability.</p> <p>EEO Statement: The District of Columbia Government is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
