We help our clients change the world, one leadership team at a time.</p> <p>Summer Intern:</p> <p>Throughout the course of your 10-week internship, you will explore all facets of the Search execution life cycle from candidate identification, job specification development, industry and company research, to candidate assessment and placement under the mentorship of the very best in the executive search industry. Our summer internship program gives you true insight into what a career in Executive Search could be, while helping you develop highly sought-after skills that will help you in any career path you may choose. Successful interns may be considered for full-time employment.</p> <p>Interns will be hosted in Boston, New York, DC, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco and Toronto</p> <p>Intern Responsibilities:</p> <p>Interns become integral members of an Executive Search team for the duration of the internship and receive exposure to and practical hands-on experience in:</p> <p>Candidate, company and industry research for active client searches and business development activities.</p> <p>Client meetings, including conference calls, intake meetings and briefings.</p> <p>The creation of Search strategy in close collaboration with our clients and their search team.</p> <p>Utilizing proprietary tools and technology to generate names of potential search candidates and track data in a Salesforce database.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Successful candidates for the Heidrick Search Internship Experience must:</p> <p>Be a student entering their final year of undergraduate or graduate education at an accredited institution.</p> <p>Possess excellent verbal skills--listening, speaking, and writing.</p> <p>Have well-developed organizational, analytical, planning, and project management skills.</p> <p>Display the ability to grasp concepts quickly, think creatively, and synthesize information quickly.</p> <p>Present information with conviction and clarity.</p> <p>Demonstrate research skills, and a deep intellectual curiosity.</p> <p>Be unselfish, team-oriented, and enjoy adding value to a collegial, collaborative environment.</p> <p>Be proactive and self-motivated and possess a strong sense of urgency.</p> <p>Pay Range Guidelines for this Position:</p> <p>Heidrick & Struggles is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring qualified protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
