<p>Leasing Associate - Class A Apartment Community | Alexandria, VA</p> <p>Job Type: Full-time | On-site</p> <p>Pay: $65,000 - $75,000 per year</p> <p>We are seeking a polished and experienced Leasing Associate to join the team at a luxury Class A apartment community located in Alexandria, VA. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, professional, and dedicated to delivering an exceptional leasing experience from initial contact through move-in.</p> <p>This position is responsible for maintaining high occupancy through leasing efforts, managing the prospect journey, and supporting the community's overall marketing and resident retention strategies.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Leasing & Customer Service</p> <ul> <li>Greet prospects and determine their needs through a series of qualifying questions </li><li>Conduct property tours and highlight community features tailored to prospect preferences </li><li>Ensure all show units are in excellent, move-in-ready condition </li><li>Accurately record all prospect interactions via Yardi or related CRM system </li><li>Guide applicants through the entire leasing process including application, deposit, approval, lease execution, and move-in orientation </li><li>Follow up regularly with undecided prospects until a lease is signed or interest is withdrawn </li><li>Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of apartment availability and pricing </li></ul> <p>Marketing & Outreach</p> <ul> <li>Assist with on-site marketing efforts such as placing/removing signage, balloons, and banners </li><li>Distribute promotional material to local businesses, colleges, and referral partners </li><li>Participate in community outreach to generate leads and promote brand awareness </li><li>Monitor effectiveness of advertising platforms and provide feedback </li></ul> <p>Administrative</p> <ul> <li>Utilize Yardi software to manage leasing pipeline and resident interactions </li><li>Prepare lease paperwork and process renewals </li><li>Conduct background screenings and ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations </li><li>Maintain organized records and daily logs in Yardi or equivalent software </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required </li><li>3-5 years of prior leasing experience required </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) </li><li>Experience using Yardi or similar property management software preferred </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Customer-focused with a professional and positive attitude </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Tuesday through Saturday (some evening hours may be required) </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to tour apartment homes, including upper-level units in buildings without elevators </li><li>Ability to lift up to 25 pounds </li><li>Comfortable with walking, standing, and climbing stairs as needed </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401(k) </li><li>Health insurance </li><li>Dental insurance </li><li>Vision insurance </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Paid time off </li></ul> <p>Location Requirement:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to commute to Alexandria, VA 22308 </li></ul> <p>#ZIPDH</p> <p>BGSF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
